7. Pouring Water Over the Body
Finally, pour water over your body to ensure that all the remaining soap and impurities have been washed away. Use a vessel to pour water over your body, and ensure that the water covers every inch of your body. Pay special attention to your head, ears, and nose, ensuring that water gets to all the crevices that may still have impurities. The process of pouring water should be repeated at least three times.
8. Recite the Shahada
After completing the Ghusl, it is important to recite the Shahada or declaration of faith. This is done to signify that the Ghusl was performed with the intention of seeking purity from Allah.
9. Dry Your Body
After completing the Ghusl, dry your body with a clean towel or cloth. Ensure that you do not use the same towel used before the Ghusl, as it may still have impurities on it. Once you have dried your body, put on purified clothing and apply fragrance to your body.
